ToneLink™ WS-X Wireless Mic System

🎙️ Turns Any XLR Mic Wireless

⚡ 48V Phantom Mode For Condensers

🔋 8–10 Hours Per Charge, USB-C

📡 100+ ft Range, UHF Dual Antennas

How It Works

Two units, no cable between them:

  • Transmitter on the mic: plug it straight into the XLR base of your microphone.
  • Receiver on the desk: plug it into the XLR input on your mixer, interface, or powered speaker.
  • Pick your mode: Mic for dynamics, 48V for condensers, Music for line-level sources.
  • Power on and go: the pair syncs on its own. The OLED screen shows your channel, volume and battery at a glance.

Nothing to install, no app, no cable run across the floor.

Compatibility

The WS-X works with any microphone that ends in a standard 3-pin XLR connector. Handheld dynamics like an SM58, condensers that need 48V phantom power, and line-level XLR sources are all covered by the three switchable modes.

On the receiving end it plugs into mixers, audio interfaces, powered speakers, PA systems, and field recorders with an XLR input.

Please note: the microphone itself is not included. The WS-X makes the mic you already own wireless.

Our Guarantee

We back the ToneLink WS-X with a 60-day risk-free trial and a 2-year warranty. Run it at real rehearsals, real services, real recording sessions. If it is not right for you, return it within 60 days for a full refund. No restocking fees, no questions.

Why Go Wireless

The Cable Is The Weakest Part Of Your Mic

You bought a good microphone. Then you plugged it into a twenty-foot cable that gets stepped on, coiled wrong, yanked off the stand, and tugged out of the mixer halfway through a take. The mic is not what fails. The cable is.

The WS-X removes it. The transmitter screws onto the base of the mic you already own, the receiver sits in your mixer, and the signal travels over UHF with dual built-in antennas for 100+ ft line of sight. Three modes cover what you plug in: Mic for dynamics, 48V for condensers, Music for line-level sources.

The microphone you trust does not change. Everything between it and the desk does.

Wireless In About 30 Seconds

No app, no menus, no cable across the floor.

1

Screw the transmitter onto your mic

It goes straight into the XLR base of the microphone you already own. Nothing to unscrew, nothing to rewire.

2

Plug the receiver into your mixer

Any XLR input works: mixer, audio interface, powered speaker, PA, field recorder.

3

Pick your mode and go

Mic for dynamics, 48V for condensers, Music for line-level. The pair syncs on its own and the screen shows channel, volume and battery.

Frequently asked questions

Does the WS-X come with a microphone?

No, and that is the point. The WS-X is a transmitter and receiver pair that makes the microphone you already own wireless. Keep the mic you know and trust, lose the cable.

Will it work with a condenser mic that needs phantom power?

Yes. Switch the transmitter to 48V mode and it supplies phantom power to the microphone. Most wireless XLR adapters in this price range are dynamic-only, or sell the condenser version separately. The WS-X covers both.

How far can I walk from the mixer?

100+ feet line of sight. Dual built-in antennas keep the link steady across a stage, a sanctuary, or a conference room. Walls and bodies between the two units will shorten that, as they do with any wireless system.

How long does the battery last?

A 1000mAh rechargeable battery in each unit runs roughly 8 to 10 hours per charge, so a full day of services, sessions or rehearsals fits on one charge. Both units recharge over USB-C, and can run while plugged in.

Can I run two or more systems at the same time?

Yes. The frequency is adjustable on the unit, shown on the OLED screen, so each pair can sit on its own channel. Set every transmitter and receiver pair to a different frequency and they will not interfere with each other.

What is it good for besides live vocals?

Anywhere an XLR cable is in the way. Podcasting and streaming, houses of worship, conferences and presentations, video and field recording, karaoke and PA setups, and amp or instrument miking where you do not want a cable run across the room.

What is included in the box?

The wireless XLR transmitter, the wireless XLR receiver, a USB-C charging cable, and a user manual. Microphone not included.

How is this different from an Xvive or Sennheiser plug-on system?

The big one is condenser support. The Xvive U3 handles dynamic mics only — condensers need the separate U3C model — and the Sennheiser XSW-D base set is dynamic-only too. The WS-X does both from one unit with a 48V phantom mode you switch on the transmitter. It also runs 8 to 10 hours against about 5 for either, on UHF rather than the crowded 2.4GHz band, at $149.
